Earthquake Update
Firstly we want to extended a huge personal THANK YOU to everyone who has been into our new shop at 430 Colombo Street. Since September's quake, it has been very humbling to hear the stories of how much we were missed and how people felt certain days wouldn't be the same without a visit to their favourite record shop!!!
It has taken a lot of organising but we are pleased to say that the last couple of weeks have finally returned to a sense of normality. We are now back to doing what we do best which is getting the stock you are looking for out on sale!!! (Sure beats sack-barrowing record bins across Colombo Street!)
The feedback we've had from our customers has been not only gratifying but extremely helpful - and your suggestions have helped us develop some great new service options for the future. We'll be telling you all about these very soon - SO WATCH THIS SPACE!

Our new, clean, bright, carpeted shop at 430 Colombo Street ( Next door to AMI Insurance) needs MORE STOCK!!! We are paying the best CASH prices in town for your unwanted Records, CDs and DVDs.
We have experienced buyers in the shop 7 days and are more than happy to look at small or large quantities of stock - maybe all that stuff you have sorted over the last few weeks that you don't listen to anymore. Why keep it at home gathering dust when it could be in here gathering CASH!! If it is easier, we are more than happy to send someone out to you as we have a buyer on the road 7 days. Influx of Fresh Stock
While our shop was closed during the earthquake and relocation, we've still been busy sorting and buying fresh stock. We've processed a huge amount of items and now that we've settled in the new location, THAT STOCK HAS HIT THE SHELVES !
In particular we acquired a large collection of both Blues and Metal CDs. We have put out the NEW Vinyl and processed 100s of items of 2nd hand vinyl plus we have received some new CD releases from the US.

Don't be put off by the Earthquake disruption to Colombo Street in Sydenham. Sure it may LOOK like downtown Baghdad but we have one of the largest and FREE customer carparks in the area at the rear entrance to the shop, off Buchan Street. Click here for the best way to reach our store.

A huge THANKS to all the people who took the time to vote on the poll we ran on our website about which shop you liked better! There has been a resounding thumbs up for the new 430 Colombo Street shop. While it will take time to gain that 'unique' music shop feel, the fact that it is cleaner, warmer, brighter, has 2 entrances and a large FREE car park out the back, it won't take long to get the vibe back. To all those who liked the old shop better, we sympathise as it did us proud and helped make us what we are today. But remember, we've only changed the location. Our philosophy, stock, range, prices, staff and commitment to our customers are still all the same!!!
